(05-30-2010; 12:00 PDT) SAN FRANCISCO [Land's End] -- Annual memorial dedicated to the 100 Sailors and seven Marines killed in action during the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal, 12/13 November 1942. Color Guards video includes Master of Ceremony, Color Guards, Pledge of Allegiance and Star Spangled Banner. A very noteworthy detail is that Shipmate Eugene Tarrant was on all 17 battles of the USS San Francisco (CA-38), and leads the Pledge of Allegiance.
